Control Room 19 inch Rack Switches
MACH100 is a rack mounted managed workstation switch. With the provision of HiPER-Ring fast recovery redundancy, the switch extends the field network into the enterprise environment, forming the bridge to the corporate network.
These switches, which also support the PROFINET and EtherNet/IP protocols can be used to network workgroups and connect them to the backbone both via copper and fibre optic cables.Two Gigabit combo ports are provided for this.
The switches which are designed for a temperature range of 0° C to +50° C also support extensive management and redundancy mechanisms as well as different configuration and diagnostic functions. Other equipment features include a fanless cooling and an optional redundant power supply. The devices of the MACH100 family therefore offer a high degree of safety and flexibility for the setting up and extension of Ethernet networks near to the production.
The switches are offered with either eight or 24 permanently installed Fast Ethernet ports or as a modular device with eight ports and slots for two other 8-port media modules. These modules which are designed for 100 BASE-TX, 100 BASE-SFP or 100 BASE-FX (multimode and single mode) can be changed during operation by means of a hot-swap function.
Redundancy mechanisms such as MRP, Rapid Spanning Tree and Link Aggregation ensure a high network availability. The security mechanisms include an access control in accordance with IEEE 802.1x, IP and MAC port security as well as SNMP v3 and SSH.
The status of the switches can be detected decentrally by signal contacts. Detailed information can be displayed by using a standard Web browser. Another central management function is offered by the integrated SNMP interface which enables the use of a network management software for example. Your benefits at a glance
