The RSB20 Series is a cost-efficient, yet versatile series of managed switches designed to meet the most common managed switch requirements without compromising quality or system performance.

All 16 models in the Hirschmann RSB20 family support Fast Ethernet (10/100 BASE-TX (Copper) or 100 BASE-FX (fibre)) as well as a variety of switching functions, while providing convenient GUI configuration and diagnostics.

As you'd expect from Hirschmann Industrial Ethernet; fanless design, redundant 12/24Vdc power supply, industrial grade build and of course HiPER-Ring*, MRP and RSTP redundancy protocols are available.

8 Ports:
8x 10/100BASE TX
6x 10/100BASE TX + 2x 100BASE FX MM or SM (SC socket)
9 Ports:
8x 10/100BASE TX x 1x 100BASE FX MM or SM (SC socket)
6x 10/100BASE TX + 3x 100BASE FX MM or SM (SC socket)
6x 10/100BASE TX + 3x FE SFP slots
(TX = Copper, FX = Fibre, MM = Multimode, SM = Singlemode)

Included Functions:

Multicast (IGMP snooping and query) manage voice, video and produce/consume I/O
Quality of Service - QoS - 4 Levels of prioritisation
Simple Network Time Protocol - SNTP Server and Client to provide time synchronisation
Precision Time Protocol - PTP IEEE 1588 v1, v2 Client for precision sequence of event logging
*HiPer-Ring redundancy as a ring member but not ring master
